Certified Hand Therapist

Denise Diver-Laver OT/L CHT graduated Magna Cum Laude from Eastern Michigan University in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy. She initially specialized in neurorehabilitation and became neurodevelopmental certified in 1989.

In 1990, Denise began her training as a hand therapist. She received her Board Certification in 1995. Denise enjoys the complexity of hand anatomy. She believes manual therapy is an integral part of rehabilitation. Denise likes the challenge of evaluating problems and devising specific exercises and splints to assist her parents in achieving their goals.

Denise participates in a wide variety of sports including: biking, running and in-line skating. She lives with her husband, daughter, and golden doodle.
