Brooke Frisbie Physician Assistant
Brooke Frisbie is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine at Town Center Orthopaedics. A native of Winchester, Virginia, Brooke is excited to return to her home state and join Dr. Miyamoto's team. She is passionate about helping patients recover from injury, return to the activities they love, and maintain active lifestyles.
Brooke earned her Bachelor of Science in Biobehavioral Health from Penn State University and her Master of Medical Science from Arcadia University. She began her career in orthopaedics before spending the past five years specializing in neurosurgery and peripheral nerve surgery, including time at Duke. Her diverse surgical background has given her extensive experience caring for patients with complex musculoskeletal and neurologic conditions.
Having participated in sports throughout her life, Brooke has a particular interest in sports medicine and enjoys working with athletes of all ages and activity levels. She believes excellent care begins with listening to her patients, understanding their individual goals, and involving them in their treatment decisions.
Outside of work, Brooke enjoys spending time outdoors, staying active, cheering on Penn State, and spending time with her husband and children.
