I put off my TKR for way too long and had a lot of pre op pain. I finally gave in and decided to have surgery. One of my sons is a physician and recommended Dr. Boyd. I made an appointment and found him to be kind, thorough with his explanations and very professional. I had to wait 2 months to get on his surgical schedule, but It was so worth the wait. I experienced immediate relief from the pain after surgery and my recovery has been very positive. The staff, his PA and AA were wonderful. I just had my 3 month post op and I feel like a new person. I followed all of his instructions to a T. I rode the special bike he prescribed 4-5x a day, had 5 weeks of PT and now go to the gym 4x a week. My co workers cannot believe how quickly I recovered and how pain free I am. I also used very minimal amounts of the prescription pain meds. Being Dr. Boyd's patient has been a great experience. He prepared me well and his positive attitude kept me positive. I am very grateful to have my life back! -
