I can't say enough good things about Dr. Miyamoto, his team, and the entire practice. I came in with chronic shoulder problems in both shoulders and I felt listened to right away. The nurse was exceptionally thorough--asked smart, thoughtful questions and didn't rush the intake. Dr. Miyamoto was excellent: he took the time to explain what was going on structurally, answered questions clearly and directly, and laid out a range of options (short- and long-term), including what each path would mean and why. All that said, what I appreciated most was the lack of pressure. There was no hard sell on surgery--just straightforward information, professional guidance, and respect for my decision-making. This seems to be the culture of the practice: my wife had her hip done here and had the same experience. If you want an orthopedist who combines expertise with clear communication and a patient-first approach, I highly recommend Doctor Miyamoto.

Dr. Boyd is such a wonderful doctor. Attentive and caring. I felt very comfortable with his explanation of my knee issue's. He seems very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain options that would work for my current knee problem. I highly recommend Dr. Boyd.
