Justin Hemmer, PT, DPT, OCS Reston PT Manager
Justin Hemmer is a board-certified orthopaedic clinical specialist with an interest in orthopaedics and sports physical therapy. He graduated with a bachelor’s in Biology and Biochemistry from Olivet College in 2005. He received his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Arcadia University in 2013. Justin also has certifications in orthopaedics and in dry needling.
Justin enjoys working with all age groups and a wide variety of injuries and postoperative cases. His approach to physical therapy includes various manual therapy techniques, trigger point dry needling (which involves inserting a needle directly into muscle tissue, zeroing in on the trigger points that can cause pain in your muscles, tendons, or joints) therapeutic exercise, and neuromuscular re-education. Since the beginning of 2013, Justin has been working with the Town Center Orthopaedics team in outpatient orthopaedics.
Justin enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, and traveling. He is passionate about staying physically active. Staying active himself, Justin is an avid soccer player.
