Laura Swank, OTR/L, CHT Occupational Therapist
Laura Swank, OTR/L, CHT is a licensed occupational therapist. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. She is board certified by the Hand Therapy Commission and is an active member of the American Society of Hand Therapy.
She has over 25 years of experience in the outpatient orthopaedic setting. She has an extensive background in treating individuals, spanning a wide variety of upper extremity injuries and conditions, with both conservative and post operative care. She has also established hand therapy programs for several clinics across Loudoun County.
Laura prides herself in working closely with patients and referring physicians to establish treatment plans that address their individual challenges and obtain consistent, functional outcomes. She regularly attends professional development seminars in upper extremity rehabilitation and has been a clinical instructor for occupational therapy students for the past 7 years.
In her free time, she enjoys outdoor sports, gardening, walking into downtown Leesburg with her husband and spending time with her family.
