Meliza Barillo, PT, DPT, OCS Centreville PT Manager
Meliza Barillo is a board-certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist at the Town Center Orthopaedics Centreville location and has over eight years of experience working in outpatient orthopaedic clinics. She is a certified IASTM practitioner, SFMA Level 1 & 2 Certified with Functional Movement Systems, and Level 1 Sportsmetrics certified.
Meliza earned both her bachelor’s in Biology and Doctor of Physical Therapy from George Washington University. She has experience working with patients of various ages with a wide variety of orthopaedic conditions. She develops treatment programs for individuals integrating the patient’s personal goals, patient education, and evidence-based practice including various manual techniques and therapeutic exercises to achieve functional independence. She works closely with patients to ensure all goals are reached so each patient can return to doing the things they love.
Originally from the DC metropolitan area, Meliza enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys traveling, working out, cooking, and cheering for DC sports teams.
