Dr. Reeves is a Board Certified orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in joint replacement surgery at Town Center Orthopaedic Associates. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital in 2007, followed by a fellowship in Hip and Knee Replacement at the prestigious Anderson Clinic.
Dr. James Reeves utilizes the latest surgical techniques to optimize patient care, including procedures such as anterior approach hip replacement and robotic assisted knee replacement surgery. A strong believer in the team approach, he works closely with the anesthesia teams to develop multimodal pain management protocols. The combination of modern surgical techniques and state-of-the-art pain management strategies allows many patients to return safely to their homes on the day of surgery. Dr. Reeves has collaborated in the development of a home-based rehabilitation program that utilizes smartphone technology to assist patients in their preparation for and recovery from surgery.
Dr. Reeves’ orthopaedic surgeon credentials are certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and an active member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons. He has been recognized as a top doctor by Northern Virginia Magazine and Washingtonian Magazine. He previously served as Chairman of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at INOVA Fair Oaks Hospital and currently serves as Medical Director of Joint Replacement at Stone Springs Hospital.
In his spare time, Dr. Reeves enjoys spending time with his wife and three young children. His wife, Jennifer, volunteers as Director of the Washington D.C. 9/11 Heroes Run for the Travis Manion Foundation, a charity that supports veterans and families of the fallen.
