Towne Center Orthopedic is great. I am going for hip replacement tomorrow. Their doctors have the state of the art equipment and training to ensure you get the latest and greatest treatment possible. Dr Abbas Navqi in the Centreville office is doing my surgery, and he is widely respected in the ortho community for his treatment and talent. He is so kind, gave me his cell number and he answered my numerous questions. When I researched him I saw he was a fellowship doctor, he used the anterior hip and robotic arm method and used ceramic head and a faster healing liner. All things I’m told make recovery better. Dr Navqi’s medical assistant Kelsey is also terrific and kind about refilling prescriptions and answering questions. When I did my pre-op at the hospital, one of the head nurses told me he was one of three doctors that she herself would see as he is so good. I followed up with Dr Thomas Fleeter, in the same practice but in Reston with whom I did my knee meniscus surgery twenty years ago. His sense of humor and warmth reassured and comforted me telling me I was in good hands as well. They don’t mind that I wanted a second opinion and consult as they are one team. Honestly, I am ready to be out of pain and looking forward to my new hip tomorrow.

This entire practice is top notch. My son broke his arm over a weekend and an actual human answered on a Saturday and made us an appointment for first thing Monday. We first met with Dr. Fleeter who could not have been more caring, kind, funny and empathetic. When he realized the case might be more suited to his partner Dr. Carter he contacted him via text and reached him just post surger. Dr Carter came straight from the hospital to see us and spent so much time explaining the pros and cons of surgery. He made us feel heard and Dr Fleeter also continued to check in throughout the visit. Dr Carter fit us in for his last case of the day and operated that very night. They truly worked magic to pull this all together. During the surgery Dr Carters nurse called us twice to give updates and post surgery even though it was so late and such a long day for the doctor, he still spent an amazing amount of time explaining every detail of the procedure and next steps. I also can’t say enough great things about Reston Hospitals entire staff. The intake nurses, anesthesia, OR nurses and post op were so sincere and kind. Post surgery morning Dr Carter called bright and early and asked thoughtful questions and provided great guidance and his assistant Fatima called right away when I had a question. If you have a need that requires outstanding care expertise and attention then you’ve chosen the right practice. I have every confidence my son will heal quickly and correctly thanks to this amazing team!

Dr. Fleeter is amazing! In addition to the fantastic job he did on my hip replacement, he has given great follow up care. He also saw me on short notice when I was in a serious car accident. The hip replacement was one of the only parts of my body not in pain!!! Testament to the quality job. Gives thorough explanations and has great bedside manner. Recommend highly!

Dr Fleeter not only worked and made my life pain free but showed me how a Surgeon can be a human being too. I did not have any Medical Insurance but yet he made me have the best possible affordable payment plan and also made my stay in the Hospital longer because being a single woman I had nobody to take care of me at home .
