Dr Kartalian is an excellent orthopedic doctor & surgeon. Initially he can come across as being a bit crisp, but he always takes the time to explain your issue & any potential treatment plan. You are treated like a person, not just a number. Dr Kartalian is also very conservative with treatments & does not rush to surgery or suggest an invasive procedure if it’s not truly going to help your condition. I have seen him several times for foot, ankle & knee issues. Highly recommend.

I have been a patient of Dr. George Kartalian a few times now over the years -- most recently two weeks ago. Without exception, I have always left his office with a comprehensive understanding of my injury, as well as clear and realistic expectations for the healing process. I am particularly appreciative of his patient, empathetic manner and like that he's quick to pull out a pen and actually draw a diagram to help me better understand an answer to a question. Like Dr. Kartalian, the office staff exudes an efficient, yet competent and positive, vibe.
