About Dr. Carter

Dr. Aaron Carter specializes in Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine at Town Center Orthopaedics in Ashburn, Centreville, and Reston.

Dr. Carter received his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. He completed his internship and orthopaedic surgery residency at the Jackson Memorial Hospital, a teaching hospital of the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine. He then furthered his training with a sports medicine fellowship at the Rothman Orthopaedic Institute at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia.

Dr. Carter has authored several book chapters and peer-reviewed publications and has given presentations in the United States and abroad. Originally from the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area, Dr. Carter looks forward to providing comprehensive orthopaedic care to the community.
