    I injured my leg on Father’s Day and had it looked at by a local Urgent Care type facility Sunday evening who could not treat my injury—recommending I see an orthopedic doctor soon. Sunday night, I called Towne Center for an appointment (as I have been a patient of Dr. David Miller from Towne Center for some hand issues). I was able to get a 9:45am appointment Monday morning with Dr. Berg. I arrived just before 9:30 for my appointment and checked in at the front desk. No sooner than I sat down they had called me back to the examining room. After a brief discussion with a nurse, I had X-rays performed to confirm no broken bones. Dr. Berg then came in and confirmed I had no broken bones and he listened to me as I explained what happened. After that, he examined my leg and foot and was able to determine that I had torn my Achilles tendon. Dr. Berg then explained my options to address the injury—surgery or let my body heal itself. Both options would require a similar recovery time and at my age (60+), would have similar outcomes. We chatted about each option a bit more and I was comfortable that the non-surgical approach appealed to me the most. Dr. Berg and his staff then got to work placing my lower leg in a cast. He explained the recovery process and I made a follow up appointment to have the cast removed. I found all the staff to be very attentive and comforting to speak with. I did not feel rushed at all during my appointment. I highly recommend Dr. Berg and his team at Towne Place Orthopedics. Oh and the best part, I was in and out in 90 minutes—consult, tests, diagnosis, treatment option discussion, and placing the cast on my leg—all in 90 minutes!

    I had a positive experience with Dr. Boyd. I went to see him for a second opinion and suggestions regarding my hip bursitis. He listened attentively to my description of my hip pain and how it affected my daily life. He was friendly and professional. He described what the MRI images of my hip showed. Dr. Boyd offered helpful suggestions as to what I could do to feel better. The previous doctor that I had seen did not have anything helpful to offer.     Towne Center Orthopedic is great. I am going for hip replacement tomorrow. Their doctors have the state of the art equipment and training to ensure you get the latest and greatest treatment possible. Dr Abbas Navqi in the Centreville office is doing my surgery, and he is widely respected in the ortho community for his treatment and talent. He is so kind, gave me his cell number and he answered my numerous questions. When I researched him I saw he was a fellowship doctor, he used the anterior hip and robotic arm method and used ceramic head and a faster healing liner. All things I’m told make recovery better. Dr Navqi’s medical assistant Kelsey is also terrific and kind about refilling prescriptions and answering questions. When I did my pre-op at the hospital, one of the head nurses told me he was one of three doctors that she herself would see as he is so good. I followed up with Dr Thomas Fleeter, in the same practice but in Reston with whom I did my knee meniscus surgery twenty years ago. His sense of humor and warmth reassured and comforted me telling me I was in good hands as well. They don’t mind that I wanted a second opinion and consult as they are one team. Honestly, I am ready to be out of pain and looking forward to my new hip tomorrow.

    This entire practice is top notch. My son broke his arm over a weekend and an actual human answered on a Saturday and made us an appointment for first thing Monday. We first met with Dr. Fleeter who could not have been more caring, kind, funny and empathetic. When he realized the case might be more suited to his partner Dr. Carter he contacted him via text and reached him just post surger. Dr Carter came straight from the hospital to see us and spent so much time explaining the pros and cons of surgery. He made us feel heard and Dr Fleeter also continued to check in throughout the visit. Dr Carter fit us in for his last case of the day and operated that very night. They truly worked magic to pull this all together. During the surgery Dr Carters nurse called us twice to give updates and post surgery even though it was so late and such a long day for the doctor, he still spent an amazing amount of time explaining every detail of the procedure and next steps. I also can’t say enough great things about Reston Hospitals entire staff. The intake nurses, anesthesia, OR nurses and post op were so sincere and kind. Post surgery morning Dr Carter called bright and early and asked thoughtful questions and provided great guidance and his assistant Fatima called right away when I had a question. If you have a need that requires outstanding care expertise and attention then you’ve chosen the right practice. I have every confidence my son will heal quickly and correctly thanks to this amazing team!

    I have received excellent care from two Dr.s at this Clinic. Dr. Boyd replaced both my knees, six months apart. One year later, I have a normal, pain free life again. Dr. Miyamoto gave me excellent advice and guidance for my shoulder. He speaks directly, but with care and compassion for pain. All PA’s are friendly and listen carefully.     De. Navqi was fantastic! No words can express. He was attentive and I asked him how I can stop the pain in my knee. He prescribed a non narcotic with 2 Tylenol in morning and evening. Voila! I can walk. I asked about surgery. He told me to think about it because it would be a permanent fix but he did not push that remedy leaving it up to me to decide. In the meantime I need to be careful. He was terrific!

    Those with back and leg pain certainly hope that they will never require spinal surgery. If required, however, making the decision to move forward with surgery is one of the most serious decisions you will ever be faced with. When it comes to any surgery of the spine, failure is not an option. In my case, I have a secret weapon. His name is Dr. Dhruv Pateder. His online vitae does not do him justice. You will be hard pressed to find any surgeon as skilled and on the forefront in the practice as he is. In fact, he teaches the leading-edge procedures that he has perfected to other aspiring surgeons. But on a personal level, what I love about Dr. Pateder is his kind and caring demeanor and the confidence that he provided to me as his patient in deciding to move forward with the surgical procedures that I had. If you are ever faced with the decision that I had to make, I can only hope that you have Dr. Pateder on your side. Everyone on Dr. Pateder’s team is nothing short of excellent. Among them is Matt Anderson. Post-surgery, Matt hand-delivered the ActaStim device to my home. Being only 3 weeks out since my surgical procedures were performed, I was naturally apprehensive about using any device on my back. Matt went through all the details pertaining to the purpose of the device and how to effectively use it. As Matt was showing me step-by-step how to use the new device, he had me repeat each step. I appreciated the hands on learning and his patience during this process. Matt was very supportive, thorough and extremely encouraging! At the end of our meeting, he gave me his phone number and asked that I call him with any concerns, questions or if I needed any supplies. Matt said he would be happy to stop by my home with the needed items. He exceeded my expectations and took the sting out of my apprehension. Thank you, Matt!

    Quite honestly, this was the best experience I have ever had at a medical office. Dr. Pateder performed back surgery on me 11 years ago. I recently had an injury and wanted to see if my back had been affected. I arrived at the appointment time, and was immediately handed a tablet to fill out all paperwork, which took about 2 minutes. I had just finished the paperwork and I was called back to the exam room. The nurse arrived immediately, asked a few questions and sent me to get a couple of x-rays. The X-Ray office was 10 steps from my exam room. The technician took my x-rays immediately and sent me back to the exam room. Within 1 minute, the Physician's Assistant arrived to review the x-rays (which were already in my chart) and let me know she thought my back was fine. She told me that Dr. Pateder would be in - and he was there within a minute. He confirmed my back was fine, told me that my pain was likely arthritis, and said he would provide me with a PT order. He answered all my questions and I didn't feel at all rushed. Once he left, the PT order arrived within a minute. From walking in the door to walking out the door, I was there less than 30 minutes, but feel that I had a very thorough experience. I didn't have to go elsewhere for x-rays and wait for results. This office is completely self-contained. Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I told the nurse my dog had pulled me off my feet, which I thought might have affected my back. Everyone else I talked to knew about the dog accident - I did not have to repeat ANY information. They were all well informed. I'm still amazed at how well I was treated and how efficiently. I figured that looking into my back problem would be multiple visits and a lot of time. This office managed to put my mind at ease immediately. I could not recommend them higher.

    This was my 1st visit here. Staff was friendly, efficient, and accommodating. An excellent outer office and assistant. Dr Reeves' bustling manner at first suggests that he'll be short and dismissive, but he was instead attentive & concerned. He listened patiently and answered fully, even when I was unreasonable.
