This interview was hosted by Supreme Orthopedic Systems and focused on Retensionable anchor use for labrum surgery and shoulder instability.

In the interview, Dr. Miyamoto talks about how suture anchors make an incredible improvement in posterior shoulder instability surgery and multidirectional stability.

Dr. Miyamoto also discusses that the migration that occurs in the anterior labrum surgery from the intentional placement of suture knots away from the joint surface was not maintained after motion at the shoulder. He also talks about techniques used for posterior labral repair to mobilize the tissue and obtain a strong repair without knot migration.
