Pat Wright-Miller, OTD, OTR/L, CHT, CPAM is a highly experienced occupational therapist, having earned her Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) certification in 1992. She obtained her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professionals in December 2020. Pat began her career with a student clinical internship at the Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine, New York University Medical Center, where she quickly developed a specialization in traumatic hand injuries. She went on to graduate with a Master’s in Occupational Therapy and started working at The New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center, treating patients with traumatic burn injuries and hand injuries.
Pat’s career progressed significantly when she joined The Hand Center, Ltd. in Philadelphia, PA, where she worked alongside expert hand surgeons and occupational therapists, eventually becoming the Assistant Director. After relocating to Virginia, she took on the role of Director at The National Hospital of Orthopedics and Rehab Hospital. In Maryland, she developed and managed an outpatient therapy center, where she established a new clinic dedicated to hand therapy. In 2003, Pat founded Hand and Upper Extremity Rehab in Northern Virginia. Today, as an experienced occupational therapist, she provides exceptional hand therapy services to patients at Town Center Orthopaedics in Centreville.
