Andrew (Drew) Elkins is a board-certified Physician Assistant with 10+ years of experience in orthopedics. Drew grew up in central Virginia and graduated cum laude from Bridgewater College with a bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training. His passion for orthopedics stemmed from his own need for Tommy John surgery and a successful recovery that allowed him to continue his baseball career at the collegiate level where he pitched, played first base, and served as captain on the Bridgewater baseball team. Before relocating to northern Virginia, Drew attended graduate school at Jefferson College of Health Sciences in Roanoke, Virginia where he obtained his Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies.
In January 2022 Drew joined Town Center Orthopedic Associates with Dr. Ryan Miyamoto. Together they specialize in sports medicine including rotator cuff tears, shoulder instability, ACL injuries, meniscus and cartilage damage, labral tears and femoroacetabular impingement of the hip, as well as shoulder replacement surgery.
When he’s not at work Drew enjoys traveling, golfing, and riding the Peloton. Drew resides in Herndon, VA with his wife, two boys, and their beloved dog Jax.
